Katy Perry Has Returned To Twitter After Divorce From Husband Russell Brand

Katy Perry has finally broken her silence since the end of her marriage.

The singer has been absent from Twitter since Russell Brand confirmed their divorce.

Last night, she returned with a message for her fans.

Katy is back in the TwitterverseThe singer, who's known to be an uber-Twitterer among the celebs, disappeared from our Twitter feeds on the 27th December 2011, just days before hubby Russ filed divorce papers.

But KP's obviously been flooded with messages of support from fans since the split - and had something to say to those believing mixed media reports about her relationship with her comedian ex.

Katy and husband Russell are enduring a very public splitFirst she wrote: "I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again", then a couple of seconds later she posted the message: "Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, "close sources" or my family."

We hear you loud and clear, lady.

Hopefully, Katy will be entertaining us on Twitter again very soonWe hope Katy's return to Twitter is proof that her broken heart is on the mend, and we'll be treated to more of her hilariously random posts very soon.
